How We Work in Your Home
A filter is only as good as what is inside the tank and how it is connected to your plumbing. We spend our time on both.
- 01
We open up the spec sheet with you
We tell you what media goes in the tank and why. Catalytic carbon handles chloramine better than standard granular carbon, and fine-mesh resin behaves differently from standard-mesh resin. You hear the trade-off, not just the brand name.
- 02
Honest advice on softeners
A softener is a good fit for some homes and unnecessary in others. We look at what your water report shows and tell you plainly whether one is worth it. If filtration alone will do the job, that is what we recommend.
- 03
Finishes chosen to match your kitchen
Reverse osmosis faucets come in several finishes, and we help you choose one that sits well beside your existing fixtures. We drill and seal the counter or sink deck carefully so the faucet looks like it belongs there.
- 04
A tidy install
We lay down floor protection, keep the work area contained and take away packaging and old parts. When we leave, the only change you should notice is the water.
- 05
Clear answers on upkeep
Every system needs some care, whether that is a cartridge, a salt top-up or a UV lamp change. Before installation we show you what upkeep looks like so there are no surprises later.
Four Ways to Treat the Water in Your Home
Whole-home filtration covers every faucet, and reverse osmosis targets the water you drink and cook with. Water softeners take care of mineral scale, and UV water treatment adds a chemical-free disinfection step. Subcontracted master-licensed plumbers handle every installation, and the work carries a 1-year workmanship warranty on installation-related defects. Each service page lists the media, housings and fittings used, so you can weigh them against each other.

Whole-Home Filtration
A point-of-entry system that treats every tap and shower, with the tank, media and valve choices laid out before you decide.

Water Softeners
Softeners matched to your home's measured hardness, with resin, valve and salt choices explained before anything is installed.

Reverse Osmosis
An under-sink system for cleaner drinking and cooking water, with the membrane, tank and faucet choices laid out plainly before anything is installed.

UV Water Treatment
A UV chamber adds a final disinfection step against bacteria and viruses with nothing added to your water, sized to your flow and paired with the right prefilter.
What Goes Into a System's Price
Every home's setup is a little different, so each job gets its own quote. The total depends on the parts in the system and how simply it ties into your plumbing. These are the main drivers.
We talk over your home and what you want on the phone, then send a quote broken out line by line. Qualifying homes get standard professional installation included, and we let you know at the start whether yours does.
- Type of system and amount of media
- A whole-home carbon tank carries much more media than a cartridge under the sink. Homes with more bathrooms generally need a bigger tank so every faucet keeps good flow.
- What the tank and housing are made of
- Fiberglass-reinforced tanks, stainless steel UV chambers and heavy-duty housings are priced differently. We explain when one is worth paying for in your home and when a plainer choice works just as well.
- Reaching the plumbing
- Some newer houses come with a treatment loop already plumbed in the garage. Others need new pipe run to the main line, which takes more time and more fittings.
- Drain and outlet access
- A softener or reverse osmosis system needs a drain connection, and a UV unit needs an outlet close by. When those are farther away, the extra work is part of your quote.
- Faucet and fixture picks
- With reverse osmosis, the faucet style and finish you pick changes the total. You see the choices before we order anything.
How a Job Runs
From the first call to the final check, the steps are simple and you know what comes next.

Talk it through by phone
Tell us what you notice about your water, such as taste, odor, spotting on glass or scale on fixtures. We ask a few questions about your home and plumbing.
- 2
Water test and report
We offer a water test and a written water report so the recommendation rests on your water, not guesswork. We go over the results with you in plain language.
- 3
Your quote, with materials listed
You get a quote that names the system, the media inside it, the housing materials and any plumbing work needed. Take your time deciding.
- 4
Installation day
A plumber from our installation partner connects the system, checks every joint for leaks and flushes the new media before you use it. We protect your floors and clean up afterward.
- 5

Questions Homeowners Ask Us
Something not covered here? (972) 435-6562
Do I need whole-home filtration or reverse osmosis?
It depends on what you want to fix. Whole-home filtration treats every faucet and shower, which makes it the answer for chlorine taste or smell across the house. If drinking and cooking water is your main concern, an under-sink reverse osmosis system focuses there. Many homes have both.
Will a softener pay off in my home?
Only if your water is hard enough to cause scale and spotting. We go through your water report and give you a straight answer. If a softener would not help your home, we will say so.
What sets catalytic carbon apart from regular carbon?
Regular granular activated carbon handles chlorine well. Catalytic carbon is treated to break down chloramine, which ordinary carbon removes at a slower pace. We tell you which suits your water before you choose.
Is UV treatment useful on city water?
City water is already disinfected, so UV is an extra layer for most homes rather than a need. Some households add it for more assurance. Water flows past a lamp housed in a quartz sleeve and is treated without anything being added.
Does reverse osmosis waste water?
Yes, some. A portion of the water flushes the membrane and drains away. Newer designs send less to the drain than older ones, and we show you how the system you are considering compares.
Is installation part of the price?
Standard professional installation is included for qualifying homes. If your home needs extra plumbing, a new drain connection or an outlet, it shows up as a separate line on your quote, along with why it is needed.
Is there a warranty on the installation?
Yes. The work is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty on installation-related defects. If something we installed has a problem caused by the install, call us and we will schedule a visit to look at it.

About Water Filtration Celina
We are a water treatment company serving homes in and around Celina, Texas. Most of our customers call because something about their water bothers them: a chlorine smell in the shower, spots on dishes or a habit of buying bottled water they would like to break. We help you understand what is causing it and which system will actually solve it.
We care about the parts most people never see. The grade of carbon, the type of resin, the membrane in an RO unit and the fittings that join it all to your plumbing decide how well a system works and how long it keeps working. We would rather spend an extra ten minutes talking through those choices than sell you a system you do not understand.
